January 2007 --- The speaker for January talked about the needs for retirement planning & had worksheets (handouts) for calculating the amount of income we will need to maintain our current lifestyles. In an old survey the Assoc. did, about 65% of our members gave "retirement income" as the reason they have rentals.

May, 2007 ---We had an excellent meeting. Our speaker was Rep. Tayna Schewell, member of the House Enviromental Matters comittee. About 95% of all legislation that effects landlords goes thru her comittee. She trold us of some of the "behind the scenes" activity in Annapolis. Told us of some of the things to expect next year, as well.
